Trouble Displaying Monthly Pivot Points (using Sierra Forex Data (FXCM))

Hi, This is my first support request. I'm using the Sierra data for live FX. When I use the daily pivot points and weekly pivot points (using variable period) everything is fine and it looks like all the pivots are displayed correctly. However, when I use pivot point variable period and set the period to monthly and the days used to 30 (per the SierraChart instructions) no pivot is displayed. This remains the same no matter what days I use for the length of the pivot. I have set the data service time settings to UTC and the session times from 0:00:00 to 23:59:59. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong please. Thanks |

With your current settings the Pivot Point period is 30 month, but it sounds like you want the period to be 1 month, so you will need to change the Time Period Length from 30 to 1. To modify Study Settings, please refer to the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartStudies.html#AddingStudiestoaChart If you do want 30 months Period Pivot Points, you will need to make sure to open a Historical Chart instead of an Intraday one so that you will have enough data loaded for the Pivot Points to be calculated.
