Hello, one of my prospect is trying to add this study (Volume Value Area Lines), but instead of having multiple small lines she got only one line crossing all the chart. How can she get the small lines? In my demo I was able to set the indicator correctly, I had a remote connection with her, she did the same I did, but the result was completely different.

We need to get the Chartbook containing the chart, from them to test this. Here are instructions to attach the Chartbook: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile We also need to know what the Time Zone in Sierra Chart is set to. We apologize for the delay. We see 3 horizontal lines on that chart and we assume they are the Volume Value Area and Point of Control lines. So it is not clear what the problem is. If you cannot see the Value Area High and Value Area Low Lines, then use the Interactive Scale Move feature: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Scaling.html#InteractiveScalingMoveUpDown Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello, I do not know how you can see three lines in the screenshot, I see only one blue line. The client wants to use the Value Area, not the Interactive Scale Move and this last one is extremely complicated to explain. I just would like to know how comes that in my demo or other prospect can see the Value in the correct way and only this client cannot. Is there something to check maybe that she did not check? |

We are referring to the green and red lines. Here is an example: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1461176623305.png Everything looks correct to us. Enable the Name Labels for the Volume Value Area Lines Subgraphs. Here are instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartStudies.html#NameValueLabels Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
