This seems to be a relatively new setting and it looks like it is related to the confusing stock symbol format implemented by IB several months ago: http://i.imgur.com/6qpRMVK.png Here is the link to API Release Notes: https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=7239 Are we supposed to enter the "slash" in that box (as shown in the screenshot above) or leave it blank? Once there is a clear answer please update IB Setup Instructions page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php#SetupInstructions |

Documentation has been updated. This is correct: Are we supposed to enter the "slash" in that box (as shown in the screenshot above) or leave it blank? I use IB Gateway...should I add the / to the Component Exch. Separator field as well, or is this just for TWS? I trade futures and haven't had any issues without it, but just want to make sure. |

Yes you will need to do that for sure. But it is not relevant for futures but you should do it anyway just in case. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
