There seems to be some inconsistencies with the feature "chart settings>advanced settings>allow real time updating of historical chart" using different datafeeds. Iqfeed - if toggled off then the historical chart does NOT update and shows no bar(as expected)until after the day is finished. SC datafeed thru IB - if toggled off does not work correctly, shows partial bar of the current day. I would prefer to have the SC feed work the way the IQfeed handles the feature toggled off....i.e. showing NO data/bar for the current day. thanks |

When that option is unchecked, then the data in the chart is only from the chart data file which can contain data to the current moment in time. There is nothing you can do about this. The difference is the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and the Interactive Brokers data feed both provide up-to-date historical Daily data whereas IQ Feed does not. This is something that has no solution whatsoever, at least that we would provide. It is something you just have to accept.
