Can't Change Rollover Date

Hi I have ES futures with Date Rule Rollover and the default setting is 8 days before the 3rd Friday (3/18) which has it rolling at 12 midnight on 3/8. I want it to roll 1 day later so I change it to 7 calendar days and reload the chart but there is no change. Am I supposed to delete all data and download?

But I still want to see the old Mar16 contract for now until the volume picks up in Jun16. So I change 7 days before 3rd frid to 6 days and I have the same problem again, no impact. How can I make this happen?

Duh ok answered my own question, just need to unselect Automatic Rollover and set the symbol equal to the Mar16 contract

Yes this makes sense if you want to continue to see the March 16 contract. The rollover rules are only there for the purpose of loading in prior historical contracts. And is it possible to see a longer-term daily chart with the prior contracts but the final one still being Mar16?

Open a Historical Daily chart for the March 16 contract following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GettingStarted.php#OpenChart And follow the instructions here to use the Continuous Futures Contract feature: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#UsingContinuousFuturesContractCharts And make sure that Chart >> Chart Settings >> Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol is unchecked.
