Please contact Mr. Sujith from Global Data Feeds India (GFDL) for solving the long pending issue of disconnection problem. Today I had a detailed conversation with him and he has shown keen interest to solve the issue with your help and has asked if I can request you to initiate the action.

Thanks! I went through it. I fully agree with you and respect & support your internal policy. That's why you are miles ahead of your competition. But indirectly it also suggests that if https://www.truedata.in/ doesnt go DTC protocol way, they wont come on board. Problem is that they are not coming up from the retail mindset of offering Amibroker etc. stuff and not understanding the importance/relevance of Sierra Charts software and the business it can generate in India. May be they lack trader's experience and POV. Unfortunately with GFDL (India) having long pending disconnection issues, it looks like there is no future for Sierra Charts in India. Such an irony that the world's best charting platform is finding it difficult to create footprints in India because of the incompetency of Indian data feed providers. Anyways, I can ONLY hope that something materialises asap and Indian traders get to use SC smoothly. I believe you can push GFDL hard to solve that issue because this time they have shown some positive mindset and inclination. Good luck! |

On second thoughts why don't you include the Indian exchanges starting from NSEINDIA (then MCXINDIA etc.) under you "Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed". You are offering so many exchanges. Why not NSEINDIA? |

We are currently discussing the DTC Protocol with True Data. We think something will occur with this because it is necessary that they provide a TCP/IP request and response server in their local client-side server program. It only makes sense to use the DTC Protocol especially being it is documented and it is a very simple straightforward protocol. We are looking into the possibility of directly offering NSEINDIA . The basic problem is vendor fees. So we would lose money unless we have enough users. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
