According to this, on the Study: Senkou Span B on the Chart: AAPL Daily #2, the formula you actually have entered is =CROSSOVER(SG4, SG6) and not =CROSSOVER(ID4.SG1, ID6.SG1). Also, update Sierra Chart to the current version with Help >> Download Current Version. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Hello, There is something wrong here. I have entered the original formula a few times with the same result =CROSSOVER(ID4.SG1, ID6.SG1) LOG READING =CROSSOVER(SG4, SG6). I tried =crossover(ID7.SG1, ID3.SG1) Log still reads =CROSSOVER(SG4, SG6) |

What is the chart number you are entering the formula on? You will see this at the top line of the chart after the #.

#2 This may be an issue. I am using AWL for a number of stocks. I click on symbol using the same chart. I noted when I changed the alert from ID7.SG1, ID6.SG1 THE FORMULA WAS TRUE FOR GLD BUT NOT AAPL Now when i enter the formula nothing appears in the log |

If you are not getting any message in the Alerts Log about there being an error with the formula, then the error no longer exists.
