We use an ES chart and overlay VIX data from a second chart using the Study/Overlay function. In replay mode, we get vastly different results, depending upon whether the box labelled "For All Chars in Chartbook: is checked or unchecked. The formula we use references the VIX data and we need to know why the replay is different when the box is checked and when it is not. When the box is unchecked, the main chart (ES) displays and references historic VIX data that was overlaid previously, even though the VIX chart is not running. However, when we check the box and the two charts are synchronized, the result is completely different. Thank you for your assistance. |
