Hi, If I have 2 targets but only use one contract, I will get a Target/Stops NoMatch Error... Is there a way where if I only have 1 contract but have 2 targets, it will just use the one contract for the first target, and assume that is the way it should work? Because if there are 3 contracts, it will put 2 contracts on first target and one on the second, so I figure if there are not enough contracts to fill each of the two targets it should just use the one target. Thanks in advance. |

When the Order Quantity is 1, there cannot be 2 Targets.

I am suggesting you change it, so that if Order quantity is 1, it will take only the first of the 2 targets.. This would make sense, since it works round robin as it is, with quantity of 3, it puts 2 in target 1, and 1 in target 2. |

What you need to do is set up and save Trade Window Configurations consisting of the Order Quantity and Attached Order configurations that you want to use and switch between. This is documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TradeWindow.html#TradeWindowConfigurations Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Ok, Here is the problem. I have number of orders set to buttons, with the following quantities: 1, 2, 3, 4 I have 2 targets. It works well if I select one of the buttons for quantity 2, 3 or 4. If I select quantity 1, it wont work because the 2 targets are there. So I simply cant use it, because sometimes a given trade setup has a large risk dollar amount and I cant do quantity of 2 or more due to risk management. Please tell me a workaround, if possible. Thank you for your patience. |
