am currently running v.1332 and it seems everytime i start sc, the toolbars from the prior session are missing even though window/toolbars shows the toolbar checked. Does the newest version of sc take this into consideration?

We do not see any problem with this. Provide a screenshot of what you see in regards to the Control Bars for a detached window and then provide another screenshot after of what has changed after you have reopened the Chartbook. Make sure you are saving your charts as a Chartbooks: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Chartbooks.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I read the procedure and have done accordingly since working with sc, but only one chartbook of multiple opened chartbooks retains the visible toolbar. I tried your instructions and found that after reopening the chartbook, the toolbars were then visible. Attached is an initial screenshot of in which the "window/toolbars" is clicked, but the toolbar's bottom edge can be seen and the chart after reopening http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1452255213511.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1452255619187.png |

There was a problem where the internal client window of a detached chart would overlap the Control Bar sometimes. It sounds like that might be what you are seeing. This has been resolved in the latest release.
