Hi,

Would like to suggest to add a seasonal date range display in Chart Settings - e.g. option to only display data for every year between December and May. In case it is not difficult to implement. Such functionality would add significant value for those who want to study and trade seasonal patterns on intracommodity spreads (e.g. Soybeans December vs May).

Thanks

If you are willing to pay for the development time at 35 USD per hour, and if we decide that the addition of this functionality is reasonable, then it can be done.

We do not think the time and cost for this would be that high. Maybe four hours of work. We could limit the cost to 100 USD. But of course we need to spend a little more time looking at this and seeing what is involved to be sure it is not something too difficult.

Actually, thinking about it this probably will require the addition of an additional settings tab in Chart Settings but that is done anything we would charge extra for.

No further comment. Clearly we see the feature is not important to you.

I'll keep this in mind if I get serious into calendar spreads trading. I am just exploring the arena at the moment. Thanks.

OK, we always put this option forward in order to prioritize development for something that a user really needs and for us to know if it is important. The quoted price would only be about a third or even less of the actual cost.

If it is something easy which it seems like it would excluding the addition of a new settings tab, maybe it is only just two hours of time at 70 USD.

This is totally reasonable especially when someone uses Sierra Chart through a broker and do not pay us directly for it.
