Personally, I find it very difficult to get started with backtesting in simulation mode since SC does not have any videos as to how best to use it at least get the folks get started. In that light - below qs - 1. If I am testing simple strategies, although multiple ones, like mix of RSI, MA and Ask Bid Volume data - what is the best to back test with - bar based or replay back testing? 2. Do I need to use spreadsheet trading system to back test strategies effectively or should I ask is it a better way to back test? 3. Can you direct me to any online (like Infinity futures you tube line or something) which explains in a video recorded format as to how to back test using SC tools? |

1. Use Bar Based Back Testing. It is the most fastest and simple. 2. Using the Spreadsheet System for Trading study is the easiest way to construct a trading system. 3. There are no videos from us. The Spreadsheet System for Trading study in and of itself does not perform any back testing so you still have to use Bar Based back testing with it.
