I just installed SierraChart on my laptop. I can't configure the function of the Hand Tool the way it functions on my desktop but I want to. On the desktop for example, when I drag the chart with the hand tool on the desktop, it moves the chart image in any direction without any modification to the candlestick image either in size, magnification etc.. It simply drags the entire image to new position either left, right, up or down or shifting the image from lower left to upper right, etc., etc.. Of course some of the candles disappear into the margins, left, right, top and bottom which is fine. The height, width and spacing of the candlesticks remains unchanged until I drag in the lower or right margin in order to expand or contract the numbers of candles displayed and/or their height. However the default on the laptop Hand Tool won't drag the chart up or down at all and when I try to drag left or right it seems to affect the magnification both left and right and up and down simultaneously. I can't figure out how to change it to the way I described for the desktop. Could you please help? Thank you in advance as always :) |

To do what you want is documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Tools.html#Hand Also this is not technically possible: it seems to affect the magnification both left and right and up and down simultaneously.
