Hi everyone, I started SC in trial mode 3 days ago. By now I am starting to know my way around. One issue I cannot not figure out is how to get real time data for an intraday chart. I understand that for stocks like AAPL, no real time data is included in free trial. But for Forex it should. For example, with EURUSD I can download intraday data to a chart, however the chart doesn't update, ie I downloaded 10:30am and it stays there. The current quote window is blank. I checked all the settings and went through 'Help Topic #3 Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating' carefully. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

That was the trick! The chart was screaming after restart. Curiously, before restarting, DF was fine, just the chart wasn't updating. By the way, is the number following DF in the green area indicating the number of people receiving data feed? And what do ST and BR mean? Thanks!

Great help! There must be a page explaining all those little buttons to the right of the status bar, such as FS OC Sv etc. I just can't find it. Thanks again. By the way, I think Sierra Chart is what I have been looking for.

These are control bar buttons and you just need to hover over them with your pointing device, and the descriptions of them appear. You can also configure these as explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSettingsMenu.html#ControlBarButtonProperties Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
