Hello Support,

is there a way to chart specific days only (e.g. mondays) in order to find some similarities? result would be that you would have (lets say) 5days of data on the chart and they're all mondays.

thanks,
Andreas

This is not supported and there are definitely no plans for this. Although you probably can program this as a custom chart study.

If your just looking for chart patterns, you can simulate this with the 'Color Bar Based on Alert Condition' study. Add the study, set the color bar to the background color of your chart, and enter the following alert: MOD(BARDATE,7)<>2

The "2" in the formula represents Monday, a "3" would represent Tuesday, etc.

In effect, your hiding bars for the other days of the week. Since it's just a visual trick, and the other days of data are just hidden, any indicators will still reflect every day of the week. But, if your just looking for patterns, this could work for you.

that not really does the trick, jackw.. its a nice idea but its more meant to see the intraday price action and a little impractical.

however, thanks for the hint.

The way to do this is to use the chart settings "set dates to exclude" function located under the chart data tab and exclude every date that was not a Monday ...it would take a bit of time but it appears that would work
