Hi,

I have observed constant http(s) connect/disconnect in the Message Log, which I don't understand, 1. Why SC needs to connect to www.sierrachart.com; 2. How do I disable such connection.

Below is sample log:

I have updated to the latest version (with new spreadsheet) 1323, still seeing the same errors in the message log.
With this being the case, is there anyway to turn off/disable http(s) connections. I'd also like to know what feature within SC requires such connections, and I probably want to turn that off.

Thanks,

Those are not errors. They are informational. You definitely should not be seeing them continuously but Sierra Chart does periodically check for the account status and Symbol Settings.

There is no way to disable these secure HTTP Sierra Chart Web server connections because Sierra Chart cannot function properly without them.

I see, in that case is there anyway to disable those constant connecting/disconnecting logs?
They are not critical, but they do make my debugging harder.

Thanks!

This should not be happening. Are you using the HTTP request functionality in ACSIL?

Could you post a copy of the complete Message Log so we have a better understanding of why this is happening.

Here are instructions:

This is not helpful. We must see the entire Message Log.

I found out it's the email alert that triggers the http coonects.

Cheers!

OK, we will exclude HTTP related messages for email alerts. We knew it was something else.
