Hello, I have installed Sierra chart on the my new PC and I am not able to display above mentioned informations in the chart in despite I have copied all settings of the Sierra chart from my old computer. I have copied also folder data and trades which were done on old PC are visible in the chart but the new trades are not displayed in the chart at all. It is SIM account and I do not see any trades in the Trade Activity Log. Can you advise to me what to check? |

What you are referring to is the display of Order Fills on the chart which is documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartTrading.html#DisplayingOrderFills You should not have any trouble with new order fills displaying so long as the settings are correct. May be: I see on the chart account (Sim) and in trade window chart I see account Sim1. Could it be the reason? How to get the same name of an account?

So you are performing simulated trading and you do not see the order fills on that same chart you are trading from? And on the Trade Activity Log? If you do not see the order fills on the Trade Activity Log, then tell us the control settings at the top of the Trade Activity Log that you have. You definitely will see the order activity in the Trade Activity Log. If you are not, then you do not have one of the settings at the top set correctly. That is very obvious. Does this happen during a replay or real-time updating of a chart? Make sure your computer's clock is set accurately. Refer to help topic 38: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails38.html May be: I see on the chart account (Sim) and in trade window chart I see account Sim1. Could it be the reason? At the top of the Trade Activity Log you need to select "Simulated". Currently you have "Non-simulated" selected. You also need to choose the symbol from the list of Symbols. For the connecting lines the setting you want is Trade >> Chart Trade Settings >> Order Fills >> Display Entry/Exit Connecting Lines. Refer to the information here: Global Trade Settings Windows: Display Entry/Exit Connecting Lines (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> Order Fills >> Order Fills) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
