I am using FXCM FIX to connect FXCM data to SierraCharts. I notice that the current price on daily and monthly charts are the same. But it is different from that of minute charts. The current price for all the minute charts are the same. I tried to change the daily chart time frame from historical chart to intraday chart. But that does not help. I have attached an image here to illustrate the problem. Thanks. Weijun |

Is the price updating in real-time on the daily chart? Do you just momentarily notice a difference? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes. The differences of prices of different time frame charts are only present in Chart Replay mode, which plays past prices not real time current price. When I was talking about different current prices in different time period charts, I meant the current prices displayed in the Charts in Replay mode.

In the charts image you posted in post #1, we see that you scrolled one of the charts back to a different date compared to the chart you are comparing to. You cannot compare the last trade price in that way. That should be obvious to you. This is also true when the timeframe per bars is different between the charts being compared. During a replay, it is possible that at a particular moment in time that you may see slightly different prices during a replay. This is very hard to control especially with Forex data. We cannot provide any further help with this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
