Would it be possible to add an option to make the chart DOM bars a user-specified fixed scale? It's hard to see whats happening in a fast market when the largest bid/offer changes, all bars shrink or expand quickly (due to rescaling). thanks! |

There's an option under chart options / advanced settings 2 to set the DOM bar width. Default is 7. Values of 3-4 compress things more.

What I'm requesting is a fixed scale, not a fixed width. For example, if I set the scale to 500, a bid of 500 would create a bar = to the full width of the graph. A bid of 250 would create a bar 50% of the width. If the highest bid or ask was 50, that bar would only take up 10% of the width. Currently, the graph autoscales, so the highest bid or ask quantity becomes the value equal to 100% of the width. |

Okay so what would you do with a 2000 lot then? There's no possible solution here *but* auto-scaling. Saturating everything beyond a certain max is probably not what people want either.

I'd like the option to fix the scale. If I select constant scale the tops of some really big bars might be off the "top". That's fine with me if they are cut off because if I can see where big volume is. If I want the exact numbers, I can just look at the quantity at the base of those big bars. That's basically the way price bars behave if the scale is fixed. Some bars may go off the screen. |

For me, this fixed scale of the chart DOM bars would be much better from the current way, too.
