I would like to use/set the "line tool" to begin beyond the last price bar. E.g. I'd like to draw a vertical line 15 minutes beyond the last price bar. Under the old system I could do that. |

No, I have not locked the "Right side Fill Space" I can start drawing a vertical line 10 minutes beyond the last price bar using the "Tools Value window", it will show me the starting point. But, I cannot start to draw a vertical "Line Tool" 10 minutes beyond the last price bar using "Show Compact Tool Values Window". To clarify: The "Show Compact Tool Values Window" will not show me the starting point until I engage the "Line Tool" feature. That staring point then becomes a guessing game. Frustrating ! Can the "Show Compact Tool Values Window" be set to start [actually showing me the starting point] drawing a vertical line beyond the last price bar using the "Line Tool" Currently I'm flipping back and forth between the "Show Compact Tool Values Window" and the "Tools Value window". |

Update Sierra Chart following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate After the update select Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values. I give up. I, apparently, am not communicating my problem. OR the problem cannot be fixed. It's too bad that the programmers found it necessary to change something that worked fine. |
