This should be easy but I'm new to SC so forgive me. I want an Alert Sound to go off when Stochastics Crossover System fires an arrow, SG1 or SG2. It should be a simple formula which is documented in the attached pictures. I have tested the Alert Sound 1 and it's fine when the Test Sound button is clicked. What am I missing here? If that isn't the correct Alert formula, what is ? Thanks. |

This is the correct formula to use: =OR(SG1>0,SG2>0) It will give you a message like this: Alert - Chart: Replay 1440.0X: GCZ5 [C] [M] 10 Min #17 | Study: Stochastic Crossover System | Formula: =OR(SG1>0,SG2>0) is TRUE. | Last Price: 1138.7 | Bar Start Time: 2015-09-21 02:10:00 | Alert: AlertSound (1) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for the speedy reply. I tried it, no go. Please see attached screen shots. I'm putting this on the Alert page of the study as you can see in the shots. I'm still missing it and don't know what/why.... sorry. |

never mind my silliness, it appears to be working tho' I missed the signal while typing the last post. Apparently the Alert Manager logs everything and it spits out the error message when there is a new bar but no alert ? I'll watch and see if it's happening now. Thanks |

In the formula after the second SG you need a 2. Here is the formula again: =OR(SG1>0,SG2>0) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
