Hi, I tried to export intraday data to a text file for a future index (Russel 2000 index mini, Symbol RJM15 - Thats June 2015 which expired). The result file contains many duplicated entries. meaning, I see more than 1 row for a specific time. For example: 3/13/2015 2:02:44 PM 3/13/2015 2:20:58 PM 3/13/2015 2:20:59 PM 3/13/2015 6:10:49 PM 3/13/2015 6:10:51 PM 3/16/2015 3:03:56 PM 3/16/2015 3:03:58 PM 3/16/2015 6:52:39 PM 3/16/2015 6:52:40 PM 3/16/2015 8:00:00 PM 3/16/2015 8:00:02 PM 3/18/2015 4:22:42 PM 3/18/2015 4:22:43 PM 3/18/2015 6:17:49 PM 3/18/2015 6:17:50 PM The data is not just copied. it is completely different for the same time stamp. Attaching a file which I constructed and contains all the duplicated time stamps. Is this a bug or can a specific time have different entries ? What should be done in order to resolve this ? Thanks, R. |

There should not be an exact duplicate with the Date and Time. There should be a millisecond component also given for the time which will make each time slightly different. What specific command did you use to export the data? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Hi, here are the steps: 1. File --> Find Symbol 2. Expand RJ? 3. Select RJM15 | June 2015 (Exp.) 4. Open Intraday Chart 5. File --> Disconnect 6. Edit --> Export Intrady Data to Tetx File. the saved text file contains more than one row for the specific seconds that I attached to the initial post. Thanks, R. |

In this case there will definitely be duplicate times with the same second. This is to be expected for tick by tick data.
