I built a custom study with Visual C++. The study works smoothly on my Sierra but when I share it with others they get a "Missing Dependency File" error. When I compile the study with the SC built in compiler instead of compiling with Visual C++ they do not get this error. Any idea? |

It is necessary to statically link with the C++ runtime libraries. This is explained at step 11 in this section here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VCExpress.php#ConfigureProject Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. yes this solved the "Missing Dependency File" problem but now their SC crashes when they load the studies. I will first check that all my other VS properties are correct and will let you know.
