Any way to add a "Current Quote Symbol" to the toolbar (see attached) to save a couple clicks. Especially for us equities traders. I know that you can type in the symbol without going into the chart settings BUT only if you've used the symbol in the past otherwise you have to add it manually. Thanks:)

You actually can type in the symbol even if you have not used it before. Refer to the documentation here:

WAIT a sec. It doesn't work. I checked AND unchecked the >show/hide message log (neither worked) and it still pops up anytime I change stocks. Usually the stocks that I haven't loaded for the day. How can I get rid of this thing?

Please be patient. We are doing a lot of work on the US equities data feed to solve some problems and make it work perfectly well with historical and real-time data.

One of our servers which provides the US equities data is not providing the historical data for this service and that is the reason why you see the message. It will be cleared up by morning but there will be more work which will be done over the weekend which may cause the Message Log to open again but in the next release of Sierra Chart, it will not automatically open.

For the time being just keep the Message Log open and move to the corner of the screen. That is all you need to do.
