Hi. I just installed Sierra in a new machine, a Windows 2012 server at Amazon AWS. The first time I tried to log in, I used a wrong password. After reporting an error message, I try to enter the correct password but it freezes. If I kill the process and execute it again, the same thing happens, over and over.

We will have this fixed, but it is going to take us about 6 hours. For now go back to version 1288 or earlier which you can download from this section here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#Rollback Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Actually another temporary solution is going to be to press the Cancel button as soon as you see the Login window appear and then correct the Account Name and Password.

This is regarded as a serious issue, and the main release of Sierra Chart has been reverted back to version 1282.

I am logged into 1290 and it's working fine. Is this still an issue?

It is an issue at the wrong a Account Name or Password is used. It will not be an issue for Infinity customers. We will have a new release out before the end of the day.
