Good morning! A have a question about dom/trade window. The thing is that i use 4 charts (different timeframes) in one chartbook to track a single instrument and it would be very convenient to have 1 trade window/DOM for all these charts. The idea is to be able to link a trade window/DOM to a number of charts (or to make a main trade window/DOM), because when i trade i put orders from different charts (different timeframes of the same instrument), but these orders have the same properties. But instead of this i have to open trade window each time for every chart i have and change properties because they are different for each chart. Sometimes i put OCO order, another time just a limit order. So an idea is to be able to link a trade window/DOM to a number of charts or to a chartbook. Is it possible to implement? Thank you!

If you are looking to have consistent Trade Window settings for all of these charts, then this is supported in the latest prerelease. There is a new Chart Linking option for the Trade Window: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_WorkingWithCharts.html#ChartLinking Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes, that is exactly what i was looking for. Huge thanks for this! Continuing this line of improvements it would be very beneficial adding the same option for DOM window as well.

Linking Trade Windows is already supported for the Trade DOM. You just need to set the link through Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2 >> Chart Linking from the Trade DOM menu.

I think i found some misbehavior. When i sync trade window/trade DOM with charts it doesn't work anymore for me. Trade settings don't sync across different charts. Please take a look at the video. Maybe i don't understand something or doing something wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdlUACf4Twc&feature=youtu.be |

The video is not clear for us and contains a large amount of information. But we will do some testing based upon the text description. In general, videos should not be provided unless we request them in rare cases.
