Hi, I recently opened an account with Infinity (TransAct) for futures trading. I am using their AT Charts platform, but I need real time data for the SPX index. I have installed Sierra Charts on my computer and linked it to my TransAct account. How can I get real time SPX data? I understand that I can buy data access for S&P Indices, but I'm not sure if that's the only thing, and I can assume that CME data will come through my TransAct linked account. Please let me know. Thanks! |

So what you need to do is set Sierra Chart to use your TransAct account by following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TransAct.php#SetupInstructions And activate the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed with S&P Indices exchange. Instructions for that are here: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed The symbol for the S&P 500 index is $INX Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks for the info. How does the pricing work then? When I link Sierra to my TransAct account, I get the live data feed that I have paid for through my broker. If I add the S&P Indices as you have explained, do I only need to pay the additional $3.25 per month? Thanks! |

You need to pay for a Sierra Chart service package and the pricing can be found here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing This page here explains the pricing for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#Pricing You have to pay more than just the exchange fee. It is not that inexpensive. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
