Hi, Is it possible to share drawings with copies of sierra chart? I have multiple sierra charts installed on the same pc and I want to be able to share lines to all the copies of sierra chart to the same symbol. For example: If i have sierra chart copy1 and sierra chart copy 2. On sierra chart copy 1 I have longer timeframe chart of the ES and on sierra chart copy 2 I have shorter timeframe of the ES. If I draw a horistonal line on the longer timeframe of the ES I want it to be shared to the shorter timeframe. The purpose is to utilize multiple cores on my cpu to reduce cpu usage. Do I achieve that by having multiple copies of sierra chart? If the answer to my question is that it doesn't work, is there another way around to reduce the cpu usage? I'm trading 2 symbols and have 2-3 charts of each symbols open. |

No, this is not supported. Really with what you describe, we do not think you need to run multiple instances of Sierra Chart. If you just have 6 charts, we do not see this as a problem. If you have a problem with CPU usage, refer to help topic 30: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails30.html Also the latest prerelease has performance improvements with the Volume by Price study. That might help. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
