Hello, I am currently having trouble moving my FX books to a second computer. I have downloaded the current version of SC and installed it, but an unable to get my charts from the previous computer to work in the new installation. I updated the previous installation on the first computer and there are no issues with the chart book or studies running with newest version, and then used the new data file from the updated version and still same problem. I have attempted 2 different installs on the second computer but they both have the same errors.

Message log issues warnings about custom dll study may cause sierra to be unstable, and studies will not load on charts. Please note these are not custom studies, just stock versions of studies with custom settings (like timeline, volume, cumulative delta). SC then crashes when trying to modify anything. It would be a lot of work to manually recreate the charts and I'd like to avoid this. I am restricted to a single computer for my dtn feed and it is overloaded so it is necessary to move the FXCM fed chartbooks to second computer.

Here is a screen shot of problem: https://gyazo.com/9597bfbd40bd2bf528fdd8029d44cac0

Also, I have additional issues with certain symbols causing Sierra to slow to a crawl and needing to be reloaded multiple times daily. Regardless of which install they run on. Crude oil is the worst offender, whether it is a simple USOil overlay on U/Cad or CL futures fed from DTN. GBP/AUD is similarly unusable fed from standard fxcm feed. Other charts within same installs operate without issue.

Thank you for your support.

Exit from Sierra Chart.

Go to the folder Sierra Chart is installed to on your system and delete the SierraChartStudies.dll file. After this is done, install Sierra Chart again from the Software Download page:

For clarity, I am deleting the folder on which computer? The original one I am attempting to copy, or the second computer where it is malfunctioning? Am I uninstalling the new instances on the second computer altogether?

It appears that the 5th install was the charm. Studies are loaded.
