What are the available means for Sierra Charts backup? I saw where you could put Sierra Charts on USB memory stick. Meaning just copying C:\Sierra\Chart would be the backup. Please advise. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-08-04 22:29:10

Backing up Sierra Chart is as simple as backing up the folder that Sierra Chart is installed to. This is all.

I noticed that C:\SierraChart\Data is the largest directory by size. Can any of the files in this directory be omitted?

I read the url that was referred but I believe my situation is a bit different. I have used two datafeed providers. Which I see filenames related to both datafeeds. For example: Rithmic: ESU5-CME.scid IQFeed: @ESU15.scid I'm currently using the rithmic datafeed and will not need the IQfeed symbols. What would be the best way to rid the IQfeed symbol files located in C:\SierraChart\Data? Thanks |

You can just simply delete those files. This is all.
