Hello, I have a spreadsheet for trading system and bar backtesting, on a 30min chart. The studies require up to 144 bars (eg. 144 price MA). How can I be sure no trade is attempted during the first 144 bars of the test? I don't see any obvious settings or adjustment. Is this something done automatically or do I somehow need to put it in my spreadsheet formulas or spreadsheet settings? Thanks in advance. |

We would have to add a new Spreadsheet Study setting to support this. We will work on that.

Thank you. This will be a nice addition to the software to save time and make sure of accurate backtesting.
