Hi, Please see attached image for clarity. When order is positioned (not executed) is there a way I can set it to different color than its profit and stop levels? The order (buy limit) is placed at position marked by arrow (see attached image) and other are two profit levels. Both colors are very similar. What I would like is: 1. Buy limit or Sale limit order position (not executed) in blue color. 2. Profit levels in Green color. (I can set this). 3. Stop loss levels in red color. (I can set this). I need help with setting #1 as stated above. Thanks. Sam |

Are you aware of the Trade DOM Order Line* color settings in General Settings >> Graphics Settings. There are no other color settings other than those for order lines. This is all that is available. One thing that we are thinking of doing is pending child orders may have a different color setting to differentiate them from orders which are actually open. Hi, Still issue remains. See the attached image. Order positioned (not executed) is what I want to be in different color than its profit and stop levels. Help me to achieve this as it is very difficult to trade effectively otherwise. Thanks. |

In Global Settings >> Graphics Settings what colors do you have each of the Trade DOM Order Line* color settings set to? And does the Trade DOM reflect those colors that you have set? Here are the colors and yes, trade DOM does reflect those colors well. Also, note that I do not use Global Graphics settings (see attached image) but use settings at DOM level Trade DOM Order Line Buy Limit : Green Trade DOM Order Line Sell Limit : Bright Green Trade DOM Order Line Buy Stop : Red Trade DOM Order Line Buy Stop : Red Hoping to get to resolution. Thanks. |

We are not sure how we can help you at the moment. How is it that we can help you? Clearly the color settings are affecting the order lines on the Trade DOM and you know what each of them are and you have control over them. As we said, we will support coloring child order lines differently at some point in the future but that does not exist now. So what more help do you want? Also, for the Stop order color settings, there is one for Buy Stops and Sell Stops. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. that's unfortunate. Thanks for your help anyways. Please let your management know that client has such type of request and hope to see that included in next version of software. Thanks again, as you did best that you could. |
