Brokerage charges for Rithmic and SC

Two months ago I began receiving new charges from my broker, Deep Discount Trading (DDT). One was a fee for Rithmic data, which I hadn't been paying for before. The other was a $20 charge that just said "April Rithmic". The broker explained to me that it was a charge from Rithmic for using Sierra Chart. I told him that I was already paying SC directly myself for your #3 platform. He said that didn't matter, it was what Rithmic charged for my using SC with their data. On DDT's website, it shows the $20 fee for using the Rithmic feed with the #3 SC platform, so clearly that's what the extra charge is about. I'm not sure what's going on here, but it seems wrong to have to pay almost double for the SC platform I'm using. Am I supposed to be receiving SC through my broker now, instead of paying SC directly? I asked the brokerage rep about this, and he basically said that the extra Rithmic charge was for using their feed with SC, and it was an additional charge. Still doesn't sound right to me...can you clarify what the deal is with SC, Rithmic and DDT? |

In December 2014 the new Rithmic API+ was made available to all Rithmic users and unknown to us, there was going to be this additional charge to use it. This is what the 20 USD/Month cost from Rithmic is for. The new API+ support server-side OCO. And the fee for Rithmic data you are referring to, we strongly suspect this is CME exchange fees that everyone now pays. Am I supposed to be receiving SC through my broker now, instead of paying SC directly? The answer to this is no.
