In the New Spreadsheets version, the font in the Open Chartbook panel's list of chartbooks is bolded, but not in the Old Spreadsheets version of 1252.

This bolding of the font is also seen on the spreadsheet sheets, the chart tabs, and the chartbook tabs.

On the spreadsheet:
-If I change the font size, it will inconsistently go to Regular, but when it is erroneously bolded the font size is always about 10, ignoring the actual setting.
-If I set the Font Style to Oblique the erroneous bolding does not occur.
-If I close and save the chart and spreadsheet with different spreadsheet font settings, then open another chart with a spreadsheet study, the settings are passed to the other previously unopened spreadsheet.

These anomalies are not present in the Old Spreadsheets version of 1252.

For the font other than with Spreadsheets you can control the fonts through Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Fonts. Make sure they are not set to bold.

We did some testing of the font on spreadsheets, and it works just fine.

Does anyone else see a problem?

All Global Font Styles are set to Regular, except the ToolBar Text which is Narrow Bold.

This issue began after upgrading from 1247 to 1252.

To test whether existing chartbooks with spreadsheets are corrupted, I created a new chartbook, and added the Spreadsheet System for Trading study. Same situation.

-All fonts are set to Regular.
-Spreadsheet fonts are stuck on erroneously Bold size 10 when setting the size to 8, 9, or 10.
-Changing the font on a spreadsheet sheet changes the global spreadsheet font to the same.
-Chartbook tabs and chart tabs are also erroneously bold.
-The list in the Open Chartbook panel is erroneously bold.

We recommend restarting your computer.

This resolved the issue. Sorry for the needless bother.

Even after I rebooted, the bolded font returned until I restarted SC a second time, and it hasn't returned.

SC has crashed twice while I'm busy entering formulas in the New Spreadsheets. This is off-topic from the original post, except to say that there is still something unstable with the New Spreadsheets. These kinds of issues do not occur with the Old Spreadsheets version.

I'm trying to wean off of the Old Spreadsheets because they have no future, but working with the quirky New Spreadsheets is proving frustrating and time-consuming. They are not ready for prime-time, IMO.

Please be assured that we currently recognize there is a problem that you are having with New Spreadsheets and we will resolve it promptly.

Make sure your Account Information has your current telephone number:
https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=ManageAccountInfo

What would help us is to save a spreadsheet in a state before a crash occurs and then tell us what you do with entering formulas that triggers the problem and attach the Spreadsheet file here. So we are able to duplicate the problem.

My account info is up-to-date.

We both want the New Spreadsheets to succeed. What else can I do to help?
