hi, ive got some issues with my stoploss, when i enter a bad position i need to close it quickly with stoploss trail but as the price goes quickly the stop is not filled and insteda there is a message telling me that there is something wrong with that (see the attached file)

i got the idea that stoploss should change into a market order when the the price hits it (it works on sim account this way) and not that it keeps telling me mistake messages like this while i dig into a deeper loss (on live account)

Refer to the documentation here about Stop orders:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_OrderTypes.html#Stop

What you are experiencing is normal when you modify a stop order at or beyond the current market price.

However, we see that the Stop order in the chart image is in a Pending Modify state. Does it return to a Open state? It should. Otherwise there is a problem.

i dont know what ure asking me with this "pending modify" or "open" state. i hav no idea what it all means. when enter a position the stop looks like this (see the image).

the problem is when i trail it against the moving price because as the price falls quickly it is quite possible that it may croos the stop and i am still in the lossing possition, which i dont want.

on sim it works fine - when i move it against the price, it changes into market order and i am immediately out. i have no idea why it does not work in real trading but it costed me some money to figure out there is this problem..

It cannot. The exchange is rejecting the order.
