I"m new to Sierra, and I'm trying to figure out how to plot studies on an intraday chart (like today's developing midpoint) that restart at the start of the day session. thanks. |

Use the Daily OHLC study, set the Referenced Days Back to 0, set all Draw Styles to Ignore, except set the Draw Style of HL Avg to Dash.

I got to work with a bar chart using your suggestion, however it won't work with a TPO profile chart. It just draws the midpoint value at the end of the day across the whole day. This happens even if I expand the profile. Is there a way to mark the day's midpoint on each TPO of the profile chart? thanks. |

Is there no way to set this so that this midpoint is a developing midpoint - ie. always at the midpoint of the day as the day plays out, even for prior days? At present, when I add this, it just draws a line through the 50% of the day for all historic days. |

If you are referring to the Daily OHLC study, then set Graph High and Low Historically to Yes. Refer to the documentation for the study for more information.
