Hi, I,m in the process of switching from Ninjatrader to Sierrachart. I can't get Keltner Channels in Sierra to mimic those in NT. There are so many possible inputs in Sierra that it's confusing. In NT I use : 1 tick Range Bars Offset Multplier 4 Period 35 To recreate this in Sierra, what settings should I use for : 1.Input Data 2.Keltner Mov Avg Length 3.True Range Avg Length 4.Top Band Multiplier 5.Bottom Band Multiplier 6.Kelter Mov. Avg type 7.ATR Mov Avg Type Also which of the many kinds of Range Bars available in Sierra is the equivalent of those used in NT ? Any help is appreciated. |

It is impossible for us to answer this question with any certainty. We do not think we are going to say anything that you do not already know. Basically the 2 Length inputs for the Keltner study should be set to 35 and the Multipliers should be set to 4. Whether this will give you a match or not, we have no idea. And as far as the range bars go, use Range per Bar-Standard: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#RangeBarStandard Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
