custom study shows only after starting backtest

my custom study was working fine but now the study will only show after I run a back-test... I have deleted all references to the custom DLL and deleted my debug directory to insure I am re-compiling fully and I also made sure to remove the edit which caused the change but it will not work as before... Also, when this happens, I do not get any trades, no matter how often I try; I even said every morning at 9:45... (5 minute chart) Any hints? clues? Thanks! |

This is a problem with your custom study. It is not something we are able to help with. This is not something which is normal. We have no idea why it would happen other than there must be a problem with the logic of the study itself.

I completly agree BUT when I removed the code line that started the issue, it still did not show the study. This makes me think there is a "cache" of some sort somewhere which also needs to be cleared out. Note: I am using VS2010 pro... Let me know if something come to mind. Thanks! BTW: Great system! |

There is no cache when it comes to study. That most definitely is not the case. When a study is removed from the chart, it is gone in its entirety.
