Hi,
I just bought CME exchange and renewed the data feed.

But in the symbol list, it looks just like the BATS exchange.

(Now I have both CME amd BATS)

Could you please help me to check it?

Thank you!

Best Regards!

The lists that you see do include the CME futures.

For example, if you want to look at the ES S&P 500 mini futures, you will find this listed under File >> Find Symbol >> Futures - Indices.

If you do not see a particular symbol listed, let us know.

Hi,

Many thanks for your replying.

I still have a BATS exchange.

After purchae CME exchange, The symbol list did not change.

BATS do include some symbol from CME.

Please see the screenshot.

When I download EUROPOUND, not a signal bar could be shown.

In BATS exchange, I could only download EURUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD intraday data, so I deceided to buy CME exchange.

One of my friend have CQG chart system with CME data feed, it include all major pairs and cross pairs, which is different from what I am seeing.

Could you please help me to check it?

Thank you!

Best Regards!

The symbols EURUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD are spot Forex symbols. The CME provides Forex futures data as well as other markets.

Did you require Forex futures or spot Forex data?

We have updated the symbol settings for the RP?## symbols. You will need to update the Symbol Settings following the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps

Let us know if you need help with any other symbols. If the CME exchange is not what you want, you need to let us know in a matter of hours if you want it canceled so we can try to get it canceled and refunded for you, if possible.

Hi,

I need both FX spot and futures data.

I apologize for the bad habbit in expressing FX futures symbol, which leading to misunderstanding.

But in after I add CME  exchange pachage, no symbol list added.

Only 16 sysbols is from CME, which is the same with BATS.

Among which, only EuroFX,Australian Dollar,Newzealand Dollar could be download about one month's data.

Other symbol could not download a single bar.

This is much different from my friend's CME exchange which used on CQG chart system.

Could you please help me to solve the issue?

Thank you!

Best Regards!

What activating the CME exchange the list will not change. All of the available symbols are already listed. If you do not see a particular symbol listed, let us know which ones so we can add them.

Let us know what symbols you are not getting any data for.

To get more historical data for other symbols, refer to the Continuous Futures Contract Chart documentation here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html

For spot Forex data, install another copy of Sierra Chart on your system and set it to use the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Forex Data Feed:

Please do not send them by email. Only post them here. You can put them in a file and make it private if you want.

You can find the symbols here:
http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/fx/#majors

Only list the symbols that Sierra Chart currently does not have listed for the SC Exchange Data service.

And also be aware that some symbols may not be actively traded and there may not be much data for them if any.

Thank you for this. We will go through this list. But it would help if you could update the Excel file with the actual symbols you see from the CME website here:
http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/fx/#majors

This symbol is shown in the "Code" column.

We are mostly done with this. We will finish up with the final details in a few hours and post here when done.

In the case when you want to get charts that go further back in time, use the Continuous Futures Contract feature:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html

We made certain that is properly supported for all the symbols.

Some of the symbols the server was not tracking so we have to add some historical data for those, but as of this moment historical data is being maintained for those symbols.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings to get the latest updates:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps

For some of the less active contracts which have been added, we still need to load in the historical data but there really is not much, but that will be done in the next few hours.

All of the symbols you requested and were not previously available you will see listed in File >> Find Symbol. Some of the symbols do not match exactly the CME symbols, but you can tell from the description what they are.

For these particular symbols:
"PSF", "PJY", "SJY"

Data for them is only available on one of the servers. So if you do not initially get the data select, Edit >>Delete All Data and Download.

Data will be available for them on all the servers in a couple of days.
These are not actively traded markets though.
