Volume on Number of Trades Per Bar

I cannot get the "volume" study to display correctly on a Number of Trades Per Bar Chart. Most of the bars are pegged to the top of the study area. Am I missing something.

Since this market is a CFD, where every trade has a volume of 1, the volume display is correct on this being the chart is set to a fixed number of trades per bar.

Still don't understand. If I convert the Number of Trades Per Bar chart to a time based chart I get volume. Also I can get Bid or Ask volume on the Number of Trades Per Bar chart.
