I currently have space setup as a hotkey for the hand tool and alt-space setup as a hotkey for the crosshair tool. Admittedly a nice to have here would be the ability to just flip between these the crosshair and hand tool simply by using the spacebar directly rather having to get a bunch of finger contortions going on for such a common thing. It's a common idiom to scroll around and then use the crosshair to check out chart values, potential S/R levels, etc. Super nice to have would be a unified crosshair tool that allows both crosshair *and* hand functionality but that might require a minor bit more effort when it comes to dragging the chart vs clicking once to make the crosshair lines disappear (which is valuable).

Maybe the concept could be generalized such that hotkeys could be shared between tools (I know engineering is probably grinding their teeth on reading this) such that the use of said hotkey selects the "first" (probably based on tool order in the tools menu) tool then using the same hotkey again selects the next tool using the same hotkey. E.g. "r" could be used to cycle between a bunch of ray tools, "l" could be used to cycle between a bunch of line tools, etc.

So the hand/crosshair thing isn't really needed now that I've figured out how to make it do the preferable thing of being a dual-use hand/crosshair:

1. In global / tool settings / general: select hand as the "after single use" tool.
2. In global / tool settings / chart values: select "always on when using other tools".
