Study Drawing Update Issue

Example: Initial Balance is plotted using Study/Overlay During the first hour, when the IB is being created, if it makes a new high or low, a new dash gets created up or down. However, when the chart is refreshed (by opening the Studies window and clicking OK), the dash redraws itself at the current level in a single, unbroken line. I thought this issue was fixed last year? Here is a video of what I'm talking about: http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=zmdt21%3E&s=8#.VRFxppOKhjM What's happening: 1. The yellow line is the IB. The dotted lines above and below are the IB extensions. 2. I am opening the Studies window 3. Clicking OK 4. All the lines snap to the current level and display as a solid line (as they should) |

What is the exact name of the study you are using?

Initial Balance. It's initially plotted on a 1 second chart (for accuracy) and then overlayed onto a TPO chart (as shown). However, it doesn't matter what chart you plot it on with Study Price/Overlay, you still get the same "stuck" updating. |

Thanks for fixing this but just wanted to let you know that it's still occurring in the Daily OHLC study |

We have done a test now using the High/Low for Time Period-Extended study and we do not see a problem.

Please check Initial Balance. That's where I'm seeing the problem.

Nothing has changed and a basic test does not reveal an inconsistency when using the Study/Price Overlay study to overlay the Initial Balance on another chart. In order for us to help with this, you need to provide us a Chartbook which contains only two charts and no other charts, demonstrating the problem. Each of the charts must not contain any more than 1 study each. You need to tell us what Date and Time and the time zone to begin a chart replay at which will reproduce the problem. Well, I wasn't making it up. It was there and doesn't seem to be now.

We know that you did not make anything up. And we genuinely want to find if there is a problem and solve it. We are only saying that nothing changed in relation to this and providing that information to you.
