Hello, For my trading system I'm using a dual Xeon processor system with 8 cores and I was wondering if there is anyway to distribute the processing between CPUs / cores? I noticed that during loading of charts the processing is fairly evenly distributed across the processors / cores. After the charts have been loaded, the bulk of the processing is being performed by a single CPU / core. Thanks |

Originally we did not have an answer to this, but actually there is a solution to this by using multiple copies of Sierra Chart and sharing data between them. I'm currently using the SierraChart package offered through Infinity Futures / Transact. Is it possible to run multiple versions of that Infinity version of SierraChart on the same computer? I asked my broker and he didn't think it was possible.
