Just installed-when I try to open chartbook, I can only access files stored in sierrachart. I keep all my files on a central server to access from different computers. tnx

Sierra Chart uses one folder for all data files and Chartbooks.

You need to set this through Global Settings >> General Settings >> Data Files Folder.

That can be set to any folder that you like. The only requirement is that all the files need to be in the same folder.
