My broker is Interactive Brokers
I am logged in to both a "live" platform and a "Simulated" platform at the same time.
I want to connect one instance of Sierra with the "Live" platform for my futures trading and I would like to connect another Sierra to the Simulated platform.
I can get both of these to work but only one at a time and I have to change THE PORT id EACH TIME I
WOULD GREATLY BENEFIT BY HAVING BOTH UP AT THE SAME TIME SO i CAN PLACE L;IVE FUTURES TRADES AND ALSO TEST OUT SOME STRATEGIES ON MY STOCK TRADING.

So it sounds like you have two copies of Trader Workstation running and you understand how to set the connection port number for each. For additional reference on this, refer to this page here:

You need to install two copies of Sierra Chart on your system. Each one will be set to use a different port number to connect to Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation. This is documented here:
