Supported Data and Trading Services

Introduction

Sierra Chart supports the Data and Trading services listed below on this page. Some services are provided by Sierra Chart and are included with the available Service Packages. Some services are an extra cost. Some Services are separate external services which require separate payment to an external entity or require a Trading account.
Sierra Chart supports services that provide market data only. These are known as Data services. And Sierra Chart supports services that provide market Data and Trading (brokerage) functionality. These are known as Trading services.
If the service provides both market Data and Trading services, it is referred to as a Trading service in the documentation. The links in the list below are to the service specific pages that explain each of the supported Data and Trading services and provides set up instructions for them.
Be aware that the amount of historical data you can access, the type of available data, the completeness of data, accuracy of data, and timeliness of data are all very much affected by the Data or Trading service you use. Sierra Chart is very well engineered software. However, your charts in some ways will only be as good as the Data or Trading service you are using. Delays and missing data are not a function of our software, but of your Internet connection and the service you are using. We support many excellent and reliable services including Sierra Chart provided services.
The externally supported services below are separate entities with their own support to assist you with connectivity problems. Our ability to help with connectivity to those services is limited. We will always do our best to help you. However, you may need to contact the service you are connecting to, if it is not provided by us, for assistance to make the connection if it fails.
It also should be understood that there is a distinction between Trading/Broker services which provide their own trading technology infrastructure and those independent providers of trading technology infrastructure which they themselves are not actual brokers or clearing firms. Among the Trading services in the list below, they are not necessarily brokers or clearing firms. They may provide only trading technology infrastructure and they work with multiple brokers and clearing firms.

Delayed Exchange Data Feed	Delayed Exchange Data Feed Provides streaming delayed and historical data and full market depth for CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX futures, options, and spreads.
Denali Exchange Data Feed	Denali Exchange Data Feed Provides real-time data, historical data, full market depth data, and market by order data for the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, EUREX, CFE, NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX exchanges. Exchange fees an extra cost.

Simulated Trading Service	Simulated Trading Service Provides server-based Simulated Trading Service for futures, Forex and crypto currencies complete with market data for CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX futures, options, and spreads. Market data is also provided for Forex and crypto currencies. This differs from the internal Trade Simulation Mode where the simulation is on a remote server with this service and therefore all trading activity is reliably maintained for the generation of trading results, history and statistics.
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing	Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Trading account is required with a supported broker or clearing firm. The Denali Exchange Data Feed is required for real-time data. Otherwise, market data is delayed.
