I got a new laptop with Win11. My old one was Win10. I downloaded the latest version off the website to the new Laptop. (vs 2670) I backed up the whole Sierra Charts file to a thumb drive from the old laptop. I dropped the "Data" file from the backup to the new laptop data file. Of Course it said "replaced existing files", I said yes as I figured it would be the same file as my old laptop, except with maybe some Win11 differences. I opened a Chartbook on the new laptop which had the other laptops "Current Cht", but only one window opened with a lot missing. Nothing like all my settings, etc. Whats the best way to transfer to my new laptop? Just erase the whole SC file from my new laptop, then paste the whole file from my old laptop? Because the old was Win10 and the new Win11 would that screw things up?? Thx |
