1. On my live funded account, do I even need to subscribe to any data at all to receive the reduced Denali fees, or is it sufficient to simply have a live funded account (currently that is IBKR for me)? If the answer is "no, you don't need to subscribe to any data, the account itself is sufficient" then there's no need to continue reading. If the answer is "yes, you do need to subscribe to data" then my two followup questions are: 2. I pay $11 for CBOT and $11 for CME through IBKR. If I cancel CBOT, does this mean that I would be unable to receive real time denali data for YM (CBOT) but still be able to receive real time data for ES / NQ (CME)? 3. Would I still be able to receive reduced CME with market depth data through Denali even if I reduced my subscription to top of book only at my broker? |

1. Yes, you absolutely need to pay the exchange fees in order to get the real-time data. You need a funded trading account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional for the CME Group, in order to get the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. 2. Yes, this is correct. 3. You can not pay the fees for the exchanges to one company and get the data from another. If you are paying for the data from Interactive Brokers, then you would need to get that data from Interactive Brokers (which you can do with Sierra Chart). But you can not pay for the data to Interactive Brokers and then get the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. In other words, if you want the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, you need to pay for it directly through us. If you want to get your data from Interactive Brokers, then you would pay for the data from Interactive Brokers. Given this, the answer to this question is "No". You can not get the Market Depth data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed if you have not paid for it, and you would not get it from Interactive Brokers if you subscribe to just the Top-of-Book. I can see that I did not ask my question clearly. I already pay for Denali data and receive the reduced fees for non-professional as I have a live funded account at a broker. However, I'm looking to reduce the data I pay for at IBKR, or just cancel the data from them altogether. My question is whether I need to pay for any CME data with my live funded broker in order to receive the reduced CME fees for Denali. IBKR does not actually require data in order to trade, and I am not actively trading this account, so if I only need the account, not the data subscription from them, then I would like to cancel the IBKR data subscriptions and still receive the Denali CME data at a reduced cost. I'm asking if this is possible. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-08-26 19:48:24

You do not need the data with your brokerage in order to qualify for the non-professional data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. So if you do not need the data from IBKR for anything in particular, then we recommend discontinuing the data from them and only paying for your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed.
