Hello Sierra Chart, After reading through the "Changing Bar Spacing" documentation (Working With Charts: Changing Bar Spacing), I haven't found a solution to define horizontal spacing for a Numbers Bar chart so that if the chart is "reset", the horizontal spacing defaults to a previously-defined width. Is it possible to achieve this? Currently, if a Numbers Bar chart is reset, the horizontal spacing makes the chart unreadable, requiring one of the several manual methods listed in the "Changing Bar Spacing" documentation? Thank you |

There is not a way to set a default "Width" for a Numbers Bars chart. But as long as the Numbers Bars study is on a chart, there is nothing that should cause the bar spacing to suddenly change. So we are not sure what you are referring to in terms of a "Reset"? What exactly are you doing in this case? Hello John, Thanks for your help. In terms of a "Reset", this is a keyboard shortcut created for "Reset Bar Size/Spacing/Scale". |

Ok, we understand what you are doing. There is not an option to be able to have the Numbers Bars automatically setup in a way that makes them more readable.
