Can Sierra running on a Removable Disc G save edited, newly titled studies in alphabetical sequence when listed in the Study_Collection_Names index, the same way it does when running on a Local Disc C? Attached images demonstrate the issue On Local Disc C: - Edited, newly titled and saved studies are listed in alphabetical sequence when listed in the Study_Collection_Names index. -sc_1studiesIndex_On Removable Disc G_image1 Before.jpg -sc_2studiesIndex_On Removable Disc G_image2 After(.jpg To avoid the attachment limit more images follow. On Removable Disc G: - they are added out of sequence, at the end of the index. -sc_3studiesIndex_On_Local_Disc_C_image1 Before.jpg -sc_4studiesIndex_On_Local_Disc_C_image2 After(.jpg sc_5studiesIndex_3Folders side by side.jpg |

We do not know and it is not something we will spend time looking into. We do not recommend running Sierra Chart on a removable drive.

Thanks for taking a look John. Can this thread be turned into a user discussion? Over time, somebody'll puzzle it out. Attached are a couple of images showing paths. |
